How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
Birdsboro Extrusions was started and originally operated as Tri-Cor America by three ex-employees within the copper extrusion market, and the company was purchased by Hoyt Corporation in 1998. Hoyt Corporation was started in 1955, supplying contacts to the elevator and material handling markets in New York City, and has grown to be one of the leading manufactures in North America for precious metal electrical contacts.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We specialize in small lot production with short lead times. Our minimum order can be as low as 64# net and we can offer less than 4 weeks lead time when needed.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Two locations. Our Birdsboro Plant operates in a 30,000 sq.ft. facility in Birdsboro Pennsylvania, and our parent company also operates in a 30,000 sq.ft. plant in Englewood, NJ.
What type of payments do you accept?
Our Terms are NET 30 DAYS with prior credit approval. We currently do not accept cash payments, but can accept credit card payments with prior approval.
